Riverside Coldstores is a family-owned business with more than two decades’ experience in the storing and handling of chilled and frozen meat or meat related products.
We provide a range of services, including storage of chilled or frozen product, blast freezing, picking orders and packing containers. We manage both domestic and export product, including halal certified product.
Our coldstore facility is located in Murarrie, Brisbane and has direct transport routes to the northern and southern arterial (M1) roads, Brisbane Port and the domestic and international airport.
SERVICES and CAPABILITIES
Riverside Coldstores provides a range of services including storage or chilled and frozen product, loading and unlading of containers, blast freezing and order picking.
The site includes 2500+ pallet spaces, 4 blast freezers, 3 loading docks and various rooms for chilled and frozen product.
We operate 5 days per week from 6am to 2pm and can provide nightly and weekend services, if requested by our customers.
Dedicated refrigeration specialists maintain coldstore temperatures and operating plant 24/7. A portal provides customers with live access to stock data and reports. The system also has RF scanning capabilities with data security and off site back-up systems.
The site includes internal and external CCTV and alarms with back-to-back monitoring by our security provider.

ACCREDItATION
The Federal Government Department of Agriculture, Water and Resources have certified Riverside Coldstores for Approved Arrangement. The certification includes good hygiene practices, HACCP and product integrity.
Riverside Coldstores is also accredited by Safe Food Queensland for meat temperature controlled storage and is approved to export to China, USA, Canada, Brazil, Twain, Saudi, Korea and Russia.
The management systems are subject to internal and external audits to maintain accreditations and quality outcomes.
